Bioglutide (NA-931)
Quadruple agonist (IGF-1 + GLP-1 + GIP + glucagon) — oral, trial-dosed
Research & educational purposes only. BioMaxFit does not sell, promote, or represent peptides in any way. We are strictly educational and recommend working with your doctor on anything health-related. The information below comes from published research and documents what has been studied, not what should be done. Many of these compounds are investigational and not approved by the FDA; possession or use outside an authorized clinical trial may be illegal in your jurisdiction. This is not medical advice.

The only dose on record for bioglutide comes from clinical trials, not from community protocols. In the Phase 2 study (NCT06564753), the trial used a once-daily oral dose, and the top arm at 150 mg/day produced 13.8% mean weight loss over 13 weeks.
Bioglutide (NA-931) is described as a quadruple agonist — a single oral molecule engineered to activate four pathways: IGF-1, GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon. Three of those are the incretin-and-glucagon axis that retatrutide already targets; the fourth, IGF-1, is the muscle-preservation angle the trial data emphasizes.
There is no established research-use or self-dosing information for bioglutide yet, because it hasn't reached the research market in any vetted, established way. Bioglutide is an investigational drug not approved by the FDA.
Side Effects & Safety
At the 150 mg/day trial dose, the trial reported mostly mild gastrointestinal adverse events — nausea and vomiting at 7.3%, diarrhea at 6.3% — the profile that tracks with the GLP-1 component of the molecule.
No long-term safety data exists. Bioglutide is an investigational drug advancing toward Phase 3 and is not on the research market in any vetted way.
Research Basis
Every dose figure for bioglutide traces back to its clinical program:
- Phase 2 (NCT06564753): A once-daily oral dose, with the top arm at 150 mg/day. Over the 13-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 125 adults with obesity, the trial reported 13.8% mean weight loss (12.4% placebo-adjusted) at that dose, with a dose-dependent response across arms. Presented at ADA 2025, ENDO 2025, and EASD 2025.
- Phase 1 (Endocrine Practice): The earlier first-in-human study reported roughly 10–13% weight loss over 12 weeks.
The 150 mg/day figure is a trial-administered dose, not a recommendation, and it is conference-reported data rather than a peer-reviewed outcomes paper. Bioglutide's 150 mg/day oral figure cannot be lined up against retatrutide's single-digit-milligram weekly injection doses — different route, frequency, molecule class, and bioavailability.
